Something deeply hidden review5/10/2023 ![]() Then, assuming you’re convinced that many worlds is the way to go, the book goes into uncharted territory and discusses some interesting logical consequences of many worlds. The book goes in-depth on the most popular interpretations of quantum mechanics, focusing mainly on Carroll’s own favorite interpretation - the Everettian or “many worlds” theory. To summarize, it is a book that explores and explains the underpinnings of quantum mechanics. If you’re familiar with Sean’s writing, research, podcast, YouTube series, or lectures, then it comes as no surprise that Something Deeply Hidden is an incredibly well-written and thoughtful book. Now it has been many months and I’m writing this review in the hopes that I can convince even one person to pick up this book, thus assuaging my guilt. For a while the library wasn’t accepting returns, and then I wasn’t in Philly, so I couldn’t return it. ![]() I have had a copy of Sean Carroll’s book, Something Deeply Hidden, checked out from the Philadelphia Library since before the pandemic started. ![]()
